Understanding Diabetes: Symptom of Diabetes

Genetics and environmental factors are thought to play a role in the development of Type 1 diabetes, even if its precise causes are yet unknown. Type 2 diabetes, on the other hand, is directly linked to lifestyle choices such as an unhealthy diet, lack of physical activity, obesity, and a family history of the condition. Age, race, and a history of gestational diabetes are other risk factors for both forms of diabetes.

Recognising diabetes's early warning symptoms is critical for proper diagnosis and therapy. Typical symptoms include:

  • Frequent urination
  • Excessive thirst
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Increased hunger
  • Fatigue
  • Blurred vision
  • Slow-healing sores or infections
  • Tingling or numbness in the hands or feet

If you encounter any of these symptoms, it's important to see a doctor for an accurate diagnosis.
